We invite you all to an interesting event highly related to the thematics of EMbeDS:

  • Human Centered Artificial Intelligence - Short and long terms challenges towards a digital humanism 

A conversation presenting, in a popular way, the major scientific challenges that must be faced in the coming years to have both a trust-based adoption of AI and the design of a society that is not overwhelmed by AI but steers it in a direction that is beneficial for the individual and society. 

The event will host an invited speech by Joshua Bengio, Turing award recipient (the 'Nobel prize' for Computer Science) on Machine Learning.

The event, organized by Regione Toscana and by the Tuscan Center on Big Data, Data Science, and AI (CBDAI, which involves several EMbeDS members).
